Tuesday, March 12, 2019: 6:00-7:45 pm
Presented by:
KT Treadwell, Chief Technical Officer from Naked Prosthetics
The Hand Therapy meeting on March 12th will be a discussion and live patient demonstration of custom mechanical finger prostheses. Naked Prosthetic’s devices are designed to be durable and useful for heavier work and daily applications with significant advantages over currently available devices. Information will be presented by KT Treadwell, Chief Technical Officer from Naked Prosthetics.
In attendance will be a patient who lost all ten fingers in the 2003 Paradise wildfire. After 15 years, she has received functional prostheses and she will discuss how her life has been affected by the injury, as well as the level of function she has regained. She will also be answering questions from the audience.
Also in attendance will be the regional point of contact from Naked Prosthetics, Charles Sauvageau, who helped coordinate this presentation.
